Presented in partnership by St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Middlesex, Breakfast of Champions raises awareness and funds for mental health programs in the community.
This year’s event includes a buffet breakfast, the presentation of the “Champion of Mental Health Award” and featured speaker Mariel Hemingway.
Mariel is an Academy Award nominated actress, author, eco enthusiast and mental health advocate. She is well-known for her celebrated family – which includes her grandfather, Ernest Hemingway.
Mariel will touch upon her family’s past in order to build awareness around mental illness and suicide prevention.

Ooh, kudos on the bagel. Mine is an everything bagel, nicely toasted, with a poached egg, provolone, and turkey sausage and a bowl of Honey nut cheerios with a big hot cup of coffee to go along with it.
