Birmingham
Join us for a full English breakfast when FFT welcomes Stella Layton, Chief Executive and Assay Master of Assay Office Birmingham. Stella is currently the Chair of the Jewellery Quarter Development Trust (which also runs the Jewellery Quarter BID), a Director of the Responsible Jewellery Council (for the service sector) and a Director of the Precious Metals Committee of CIBJO (The World Jewellery Confederation).
Stella has kindly agreed to speak at this sit down breakfast seminar giving us an insight into the role of the Assay Office in Birmingham including the rich history of the Assay Office, proposed development and the future plans for the Assay Office. One of Birmingham's oldest institutions will have a new home located within the St Georges development, fronting Icknield Street. The development of the Assay Office's new home will be the first new build project on the site. Stella will also be discussing the Assay Office's connections with Matthew Boulton and will be addressing the industry in general.
The breakfast seminar will take place at the award winning Metro Bar and Grill located in the centre of the city. Delegates will have the great opportunity to use the restaurant and the comfy booth section for post breakfast B2B networking.
