Premiere Of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment'sThe ultimate ’80s It Girl played the popular rich girl Claire Standish in The Breakfast Club. Something of a Hughes muse, Ringwald also appeared in Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink. While she’ll forever be known as an ’80s teen icon, she’s stayed in showbiz over the past three decades, taking on roles on the big screen (Betsy’s Wedding, Teaching Mrs. Tingle) and the small screen alike (The Secret Life of the American Teenager, The Stand). Ringwald will next be seen in the highly anticipated, nostalgia-friendly Jem and the Holograms movie.

Nelson (and his nostrils) sent hearts fluttering as the bad boy John Bender. The actor is still primarily known as an ’80s star, though he has worked steadily since his Brat Pack days, including hitting the small screen for shows like Suddenly Susan. Nelson can currently be seen on the smash drama Empire as Lucious Lyon’s villainous rival Baretti.

Anthony Michael Hall

Anthony Michael Hall was no stranger to playing geeks in Hughes movies (see: Sixteen Candles, Weird Science), but his performance as the brainy, picked-on Brian Johnson in The Breakfast Club gave him some extra depth. While Hall may forever known as an ’80s star, but he’s worked steadily (primarily in supporting roles) since his Brat Pack days, even breaking out of his nerd typecasting, thanks to roles in movies like Edward Scissorhands, Six Degrees of Separation, The Dark Knight, and TV’s Dead Zone. The actor (who also had a short-lived stint as a cast member on Saturday Night Live) can currently be seen in the Oscar-nominated drama Foxcatcher.

Emilio Estevez

Estevez — better known as the sensitive jock Andrew Clark — hasn’t been seen on screen since the little-seen 2010 comedy The Way. But before his hiatus from the Hollywood scene, Estevez worked steadily throughout the ’80s and ’90s, appearing in some of his most career-defining movies, including St. Elmo’s Fire, Young Guns, and The Mighty Ducks franchise. Estevez worked alongside his family in the 2000s, guesting on his father Martin Sheen’s The West Wing, and brother Charlie Sheen’s series Two and a Half Men.

Ally Sheedy

Sheedy starred in some of the most beloved movies of the ’80s, including St. Elmo’s Fire, War Games, Short Circuit, and of course, The Breakfast Club, in which she played the reclusive “goth” kid Allison Reynolds. Sheedy has mostly done supporting work in movies and on television since then, but she also branched out to the stage. The actress was last seen in the 2014 indie comedy Fugly!.
