Vancouver Breakfast Restaurants: 10Best Restaurant Reviews

April 29, 2016 – 05:41 pm

It's no secret that breakfast is the most important meal of the day—a solid and nourishing breakfast will give you the sustenance you need to tackle the day ahead, and these Vancouver restaurants will definitely satisfy.

Attention early birds! YEW seafood + bar in the Four Seasons Vancouver opens bright and early at 6:30am and serves a menu with plenty of options. From freshly pressed juices and healthy mains to indulgent Benedict and sweet options, breakfast at YEW is like waking up on the right side of the bed. If you're craving pancakes, the buttermilk pancakes with salted caramel, bananas and toasted hazelnuts are a must order.

When going out with friends, different dietary needs can make dining options slim. The Wallflower is where omnivores, carnivores, vegans and gluten free eaters can all come together to break bread, or a house-made gluten free bun. Located on trendy Main Street, The Wallflower is a favorite amongst hipsters and a younger crowd. Open for brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert, a good meal is available any time of day. Brunch includes your classic eggs Benedict, complete with vegan and gluten free options. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is fun, making it perfect for a date night or dinner out with friends. ((604) 568-7554)

Breakfast with the sunny taste of Southern France is replete with tempting croque monsieurs oozing gruyere, crab and shrimp cake eggs Benedict, fresh fruits, piping hot baked goods in a basket and french toasted baguettes. Each egg dish served up with potatoes and fresh fruit, with the option to switch out potatoes for a mixed green salad. If the steaming coffee and tea is not enough to wake you up, cast your eye out the window where Davie Street meets False Creek for a fabulous view of the seawall and the marina. They're open for brunch on weekends, but they also open at 8am during the week. (604-681-4144)

The Templeton is exactly how you would imagine an old school diner to be; vinyl chairs, milkshake mixers, a jukebox and hearty breakfasts to fill that morning void in your stomach. It's a cozy space right on the Granville Street strip and they use free-range eggs in their kitchen. The price of each dish is a bang for your buck, considering the quality ingredients they use. The blueberry banana pancakes are fluffy and full of little blue berries that burst in your mouth, while the big ass breakfast will satisfy both your sweet and savory cravings. The space isn't huge so it's best to go with smaller groups. ((604) 685-4612)
